  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Adjust according to taste preference.
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese Can substitute with sour cream or vegan cream cheese.
  • 12 pieces taco shells Whole grain taco shells for healthier option.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the BBQ sauce and add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  3. Dollop cream cheese on top.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  2. Shred the chicken with forks and stir to mix with the sauce.
  3. Stuff taco shells and top with your favorite toppings.
