- In a slow cooker, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker, making sure it’s coated with the sauce.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
Serving
- Serve over fluffy rice, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
