Method
Preparation
- In a food processor, combine ricotta, olive oil, salt, and garlic powder—if using. Blend until smooth and creamy, roughly 1 to 2 minutes.
- Alternatively, whisk by hand or use a hand mixer if desired.
Make the Hot Honey
- In a small saucepan, warm the honey over low heat. Stir in your chosen hot sauce or chili oil and chili flakes. Heat gently until warmed through and infused with that fiery flavor.
Plate the Dip
- Spread the whipped ricotta onto a shallow dish. Take the back of a spoon and create some beautiful swirls.
Garnish and Serve
- Drizzle the spicy honey generously over the ricotta.
- Top it off with cracked pepper, lemon zest, and fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve alongside crostini, vibrant veggies, or pile it onto a charcuterie board.

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If freezing, thaw in the fridge before serving. Experiment with flavors by adding smoked paprika or using maple syrup instead of honey.
