Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large casserole dish.
- In a large pot, cook the chicken over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side until it’s golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Mixing
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, cream of chicken soup, chopped bell peppers, spices, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
Baking
- Transfer the mixture into the greased casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped green onions and serving.
Notes
This casserole pairs excellently with a side salad or garlic bread. Consider adding a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of crushed red pepper on top for added flavor.
