Ingredients
  

For the sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey Adjust sweetness to preference
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes Optional for heat
For the chicken and noodles
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces Can use either breast or thigh meat
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch Coat chicken well for crispiness
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil For cooking chicken
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles) Choose your preferred type
  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer until thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and chicken.
Serving
  1. Serve Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles warm on a plate or in a bowl.
  2. Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes
