Ingredients
  

For the sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Can use low-sodium soy sauce.
  • 3 tbsp honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional) Adjust spice level to preference.
For the chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces Uniform pieces ensure even cooking.
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch For coating chicken.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil For frying.
For the noodles
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles) Cook according to package directions.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer and thicken for 1–2 minutes.
Finishing
  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and toss with a little oil if desired.
  2. Add noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes
